The mission of Somerset Soccer Club is to introduce the game of soccer to youth of all ages and skill levels with the purpose of instilling a life long passion for the game while having fun. We strive to provide an environment that enables players to improve self-esteem, promote self-confidence and cultivate a lifelong passion for the game.

Objectives & Expected Level Of Play By Age Grouping
U6 Rec (JK & K)
U6 Rec meets one day per week on Saturday mornings. It's a fun program for players ages 3 to 6. Players get comfortable with the ball at their feet while also learning the basics of soccer with fun games and activities.
- Six, one hour sessions from 10:00 to 11:00
- Size 3 ball
- T-shirt will be provided with registration fee
- Fun activities to get familiar with soccer
- Scrimmages at the end of each session
U8 Rec (1st & 2nd Grade)
U8 Rec meets one day per week on Saturday mornings. It's a fun program for players ages 6 to 8. We aim to build upon soccer fundamentals and develop a better understanding of the game.
- Six, one hour sessions from 9:00 to 10:100
- Size 4 ball
- T-shirt will be provided with registration fee
- Skill building activities and games
- Scrimmages in the second half of each session
U10 Rec (3rd - 5th Grade)
U10 Rec meets one day per week on Saturday mornings. It's a fun program for players ages 8 to 10. We aim to build upon soccer fundamentals and develop a better understanding of the game.
- Six, one hour sessions from 9:00 to 10:00
- Size 4 ball
- T-shirt will be provided with registration fee
- Skill building activities and games
- Scrimmages in the second half of each session
U10 Competitive
U10 Competitive is our next step after our recreational programs. We compete in the WYSA against teams from surrounding areas.
- Two practices per week (Day/Time TBD)
- Weekend Jamborees & Tournaments
- Size 4 ball
U12 Competitive
U12 Competitive will continue building on skills and team chemistry. We compete in the WYSA against teams from surrounding areas.
- Two practices per week (Day/Time TBD)
- Weekend Jamborees & Tournaments
- Size 4 ball
U15 Competitive
U14 Competitive will continue building on skills and team chemistry. We compete in the WYSA against teams from surrounding areas.
- Two practices per week (Day/Time TBD)
